Amanda Muse is a composer based in Los Angeles, known for her vibrant, energetic blend of lush orchestration with rich classical harmony, and driving rhythms informed by her extensive background as an internationally-recognized percussionist. With a portfolio including work for industry giants such as Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, CineSamples, and Riot Games, she brings a dynamic blend of musical expertise, enthusiasm, and organizational skills to every project she undertakes. She has scored multiple critically acclaimed films, including “Journalism 101,” directed by Michael Lopez, which won "Best TV Pilot" at the 2022 Top Shorts Film Festival, and “Long Pork,” directed by Iris Dukatt, starring Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”). She has conducted and recorded her compositions at major Los Angeles-based studios, such as 20th Century Fox, Sony, and Warner Brothers.

Amanda got her industry start as a producer and sample editor at renowned virtual instrument company CineSamples, for which she traveled the world to capture the sound of authentic instruments. She recorded and produced CineSamples’ “Drums of War 3” sample percussion library. She oversees all project management at music production company Hollywood Scoring, where she collaborates with a team of Emmy-winning producers and composers to provide music for feature films, video games, and live entertainment.

Amanda has been a session percussionist for clients including Netflix (“Leo”), Riot Games (“League of Legends”), and CineSamples (“Drums of War”), and has performed as a drummer at the Hollywood Bowl, Universal Studios Orlando, Disney World, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Miss Florida Pageant, and multiple corporate entertainment venues. Before moving to LA, she traveled throughout the U.S. and internationally as a drumline clinician artist, proudly sponsored by Pearl Drums, Vic Firth, and Zildjian. She was champion of the 2018 international "Hit Like A Girl" percussion contest, and later went on to perform on snare at the 2019 PASIC international percussion convention in Indianapolis. Amanda has also released two self-published books on snare drum technique: “Rhythmic Muse” (2018) and “Foundation” (2020).

Before coming to Los Angeles, Amanda completed a bachelor's degree in Psychology at Western Carolina University, where she also taught, wrote, and directed drumline shows at the university's football games, in front of a weekly audience of 20,000+ cheering students. She holds a master's degree in Project Management from New York University, as well as a master's degree in Music Composition from California State University, Los Angeles. She resides in Tarzana and considers herself a coffee aficionado, constantly searching for the perfect home brewing techniques.
